Hello and welcome. This is Nolan Formalarie with DiscoverNChomes and Nolan’s News, and I want to talk about a community off of 211 called Pine Forest.
It’s a great community. It’s got a mix of single family homes. Eventually it is promoting that’ll have condos and town homes, and it’s got a progressive living right on site. So it makes it truly a unique place that it’s got everything right there.
Anchored out front is Novant Medical Center, so you have a doctor’s office out front. Amenities in the community are nice and they’re lower HOA fees. They provide pedestrian walkways and trails throughout the community. They have a nice outdoor pool and they have a clubhouse where they will have clubs and meeting gatherings and things like that.
On the single family level right now, that’s what’s being built. There are two builders in there. There’s Trust Building Group, and there is Bill Clark Homes. Both groups, both companies are building between 1,700 – 2,800 heated square feet. The price point starts off at $410,000 range and goes all the way up until about five $550,000 but it’s a great price point, it’s almost a niche right now in Brunswick County, because for the $400,000, you get a nice new upgraded product. Some of the standards in these homes are coffered ceilings, a wonderful trim package, a great outdoor living, granite countertop, soft, close drawers, so you’re getting a nice quality built home.
The progressive living area is also very interesting. It’s called The Landings at Oak Island and it provides assisted living and it’s also going to have a memory program where it provides secured assisted living. So just nice to know that you can progress from the single family homes over there, if needed.
