It’s amazing to think that on January 12 it’s in the mid-70s and my five-year-old son has asked us to have a squirt gun fight with his shirt off! We truly do get spoiled with the winter down here and having weeks in a row where temperatures have steadily been in the high 60s to mid-70s. Growing up in western Massachusetts gave me an appreciation for the cold weather.
Also, the understanding that, at least for me, winter is nice to visit, but not live in. The boys and I enjoyed a squirt gun fight at the house, and then, we headed over to the St. James playground.
