North Carolina’s 9th Annual Wilmington Oktoberfest grows again! We’ve added Sunday, October 17, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Oktoberfest. We’ve also expanded the KidsZone!, brought in celebrities, and will serve authentic German food and genuine Oktoberfest beers. Everyone loves the Wiener Dog Races on Saturday afternoon! The fun starts at 4pm on Friday with the ceremonial tapping of the first keg. The band kicks in at 5pm and plays continuously until midnight. The fun kicks into high gear on Saturday at 11 with the band starting at 12 noon sharp (you know how us Germans are about punctuality!) and continues until Midnight.
